When did she die? Most news papers only keep archives for a few months...I checked the Chicago Tribune & Sun Times as well as the suburban papers. If she died before 1-2 years ago, you may consider having a genealogy researcher look it up for you. Volunteer researchers can be found at www.raogk.org, they usually will do it for free or the cost of postage.
