I have two small children. I want to leave the state I am in now because there is nothing here. I want to move to another state. I want to move to the place where my father lives. The only thing is him and I don't speak. I want to move there because there are more possible opportunities for jobs and better schools for my children. I want my children to be able to do things and have places to go. I want them to experience life and new things. If I stay where I am, I just see them getting in trouble, there is nothing for children to do here. I have no job, I have a little money saved up. I was going to school and I just got my Assoc. Degree, but I haven't been able to find a job with the hours I can work. Is it possible to move somewhere else with no help from anyone? If it is possible, how do I do it?

This is a hard question to answer. it is possible, but extremely hard. if you are planning on just picking up and moving with close-to-nothing, then i would suggest to first maybe to have a garage sale with all of the stuff your not taking, or put up your big items like furniture on ebay. that way you'll have a little bit of extra money. as for the children...I've moved i don't know how many times when i was a kid. and its extremely hard to move a kid from a school that they've gone to for a wile and have friends, but it can be done. it hurts for a while, but they will have new friends and move on. on of the best things that i found out about moving was meeting all of the new people and finding out the different personalities! but its still really hard. but, if where your moving is a better, safer place, then go for it. other wise...you'll probably look back on it when they're older and say to yourself, 'why didn't i do that?' good luck with what ever you choose and i hope i put a little insight form my own personal experiences!

The 1st thing I want to ask is where are the children's father? Some states have laws that you can not move with out him signing something saying you can.Other wise I say start looking for a job on line where you want to move to.Than find someone to help you in til you get on your feet. Also check out whats for rent on line in the town your thinks about.

Yes, but my suggestion would be to travel there first by yourself and find a job and a place to live BEFORE bringing your children. You certainly don't want to move there and find yourself without a job or a place to live and subject your children to a homeless shelter. You have to do what's best for your children over all.

It's possible but first you should research the area on the Internet. Have two plans. The first one is what you are aiming for. The second one is what to do if EVERYTHING goes wrong. Make sure the resources for plan two are in place before you go and if possible plan one too.

Good Luck!

yes you can just up and go, take what you need and go, but you do need to make sur you know where you are going and where you will stay when you get their. as for a job here you can get some temp work thru these companys and you would be able to do them where ever you live, good luck

You need to make sure that you have enough money to atleast put a roof over your childrens head before you move. Just make sure that no matter what you decide you put your childrens well being first...
