My parents are so nosey?

So I am 18 and my parents love to read through my business.

Any receipts i have in my pocket they start reading through. Its not like i go shopping everyday after work, those receipts are from food i buy during my break.

Any letters I get from my bank my parents open and read through without my permission. Really any mail I get in general they ask "what is that about" I am like its not of your business.

I told them I am looking into car and they said you do not need a car, your too young. I said I do because I can't be on your schedule my whole life and I can't be driving your car forever.

It's time to start making a life of your own. At your age you should be developing an exit strategy to become financially independent. This would allow you to move out and be your own boss. As long you live with them, they can treat you like a child.

Parents can be like that especially now you are coming to a certain age where you are now a adult and don't have to share your private life with your parents.

You should sit down with them and tell them your thoughts about this they should understand x

If you still live with them then what you do and what you buy is kind of their business. If you wanted personal freedom and independence then move out.

leave a note in a pocket that reads something like "john and I will meet

tuesday to discuss killing of parents"..............and see what happens
