Why doesn't my mom want to tell my dad about her new brother?

My mom has been hanging out with her new brother a lot for the past month he even spent the night twice when my dad went out of town. He's really cool he bought me a xbox 360 to play while they're going through photo albums in my parents room. I guess they were seprated at birth but she has never told anyone about it before. Why doesn't she want to tell my dad though? I think he would like to meet her brother she says I can't tell either though. Do you think I can convince her?
