So a while ago my parents took away my phone for foul language in my texts. This past week I went to U.S. Space Camp without my parents. Before I went to Space Camp, they gave me my phone and said it was only so I could call them each night and that I am not to text anyone else or call anyone else. During Space Camp my phone's touch screen was hardly working and I told that to my dad. When I got back from Space Camp, I didn't quite yet give my dad my phone back. The past two days that I have been back, I started texting and calling my friends. Today my parents left me home alone because they had errands to run. I still kept texting my friends. It turns out that they left me home so they could go to the Sprint Store and buy me a new smartphone that has a good touchscreen. While they were there, they checked the Sprint website and checked my cellphone account. They were able to see all my text messages after they bought me my new phone. When I got home, they were mad at me for disobeying them, and they made me give them my phone that hardly hardly works. And they showed me the new phone that they got me, and told me that now I'm not gonna get it, because I disobeyed them. Now I don't have a phone and I really want that smartphone. I decided that I am going to try to earn that smartphone by making a list of things that I am going to do everyday. Parents, this is the part where you come in. I don't know what to put on my list. I already put clean up kitchen everyday after every meal, keep my room clean, and keep house clean without being asked. But I know that that's not going to be good enough. I need you guys to give me a ton of ideas that could seriously help me earn my phone back.

I'm not sure what to say that no one else did. I just can't believe a 13 year old has a cell phone, let alone a high-tech one. goes for anyone, not just you. but good luck, and listen to your parents. they might not always seem fair but that's part of being a parent.

You know, just because you make a list just for now because of that smartphone kinda makes your parents think that you're a materialistic kid.



Just a heads up, once you start all these acts, you should always keep them up. If you don't, it hints to your parents that you are only obedient for things you want.



Anyway, if you really want them to earn their trust again(which will be hard), you need to get down to a compromise with each other. Talk to them and let them know that this will be the last time that will happen(and it MUST be the last time).



If it doesn't work, then you have one hell of an strict parent.
