I hate my dad?

My Dad can be absolutely unbearable. I know I m fortunate, but this is starting to get ridiculous. I was moving some boxes with my dad and he told me to move them back, so I moved them back against the other boxes. He told me to move them back more, I said that s as far as they went. He told me I was an idiot and told me to put the boxes on top of other boxes to touch the wall. I moved one back and since it was a bit out of view, told him that it was against the wall. He then yelled at me to go to my room, so I hustled out of the area and didn t say anything. He then started shoving and throwing boxes at me before I could get out and I reached for his arms because he had another box and told him not to throw boxes at me and he told me to get my ******* hands off him and go to my room. As I left, he added that if I ever did that again I d never leave my room for a month and that I was a spoiled brat.

All of our exchanges are like this and I don t know what to do. I live with both my parents and when my mom s in the same room or whatever he s never as bad, though he still yells at me for stupid stuff. My mom and I rarely fight but when I do it normally stems off of "be nice to your dad". When he s not around, my mom and I get along great.

My dad is the breadwinner for the family by far as well as a lawyer. I m 15 and female. What, if anything, should I do?

i am so sorry, my father spoils me with presents and is very nice. I guess you should talk to you mom about your dad's behavior. Don't hate your dad, later when you are old you will realize that he gave you food, water, and especially life. Just make memories.

You can be angry at family but never hate. One must work to try their best never to hate a member of their family. Make a list of his good qualities though it is okay to feel the anger as Dad's do mess up. Just don't let it turn to hate.

You shouldn't be such a lazy liar when you're doing chores around the house. You have to earn respect, nobody is going to give it to you for nothing, even your dad.

you need to tell cps about that, noone should be throwing boxes at you unless you want to tell the police about it
