Not necessarily. Character flaws aren't something that you inherit. This is learned behavior. Usually the apple doesn't fall far from the tree because kids tend to look up to their parents, therefore they copy their behavior, but this isn't always the case. If a child doesn't see their parent as a role model and understands that their behavior is wrong, they are less likely to copy them.

You don't inherit bad behavior you inherit physical malfunctions/deformities. Bad behavior is learned by example. So yes you can become like the lying, self interested, manipulative, etc parent but you can choose not to be that way, (especially) since youre aware of it.

No not necicerily. You inherit your parents genes but not brain. It's up to you to decide right from wrong. Just cause you parents has something doesn't mean you will have it too.

What you list are learned behaviors, many children who's parents have those behaviors reject them. So to assume that it would be passed down would be a mistake.
