That is rlly weird. I am a 16 year old girl and i would never think to walk around my house naked. I wouldnt even walk around in my underwear. You should talk to her and tell her its innapropriate. Atleast make her wear her bathing suit or underwear LOL My dad would flip out. He gets mad if im wearing my bathing suit around the house after i go to the beach or something let alone naked. Thats soo weird specially since your the dad i was thinking a mom would be writing this.

This is not normal behavior for a 16 year old girl. But not being normal does not necessarily mean weird or perverted. Maybe she comes home from school and feels more comfortable that way. You need to have a discussion with her as to why. Don't accept "just because" but on the other hand don't say she needs to stay dressed "just because." Maybe she would be just as comfortable in a t-shirt and loose fitting underwear such as boxers. (Some women wear men's boxer when relaxing at home because they are more comfortable than women's underwear. I know of a woman who removed the button from mens boxers, sewn the fly shut and actually goes out in public dressed in them - wearing panties beneath them).

Well i am still 15, so i don't know much about parenting but this is definitely not NORMAL!! just tell her to stop doing that, ban her to walk around the house naked, make her put clothes on, anything. Come on u are her parent you know what is right or wrong. Just do something about it, you don't want her to become a hooker later right? Sorry if i offended you, its just my opinion.

Fred - you are a Male Parent and she is a Teenage Female Girl, so nudity around each other is inappropriate and against the law! There is a certain level of respect that you need to with hold in your home and help build her self respect at the same time. If you have gotten more comfortable with it, then you should be locked up! She is your daughter!

Sheesh, some of the responses here really show a cultural perversion to nudity. First of all nude does not equal sexual. Nude is merely a state of being, neither good or bad, right or wrong.



Go back about a hundred years ago and you'd find that most families had smaller homes and larger families, this meant that nudity was a common occurrence (kids shared bedrooms and beds, baths were often done in the kitchen or front yard in a big metal tub).



There are lots of people who do not particularly like the constraints of clothing and seek to be free of them when they can. So let her be and don't sweat it.
