Because men are supposed to be the emotionally strong and balanced ones. And crying is a sign of weakness...or so people think. I do not believe that.

I think it's ok for a man to cry, it just seems wierd when you don't see many men cry, I have had a couple cry after breaking up with them. I don't understand why women think that men are weak when they cry, they are human like us and have feelings lik us.

i like to think of the saying:

It takes a big man to cry and an even bigger man to laugh at that man!

I feel that everyone is intitled to a good cry when needed!!!! and yes that does include men! :)

For the following reasons:

1- He's looked at as a responsible person more than woman..

2- He should be able to hold under pressure

3- The nature of man makes him stronger..

4- He's not feminine

etc.

he's too cowardly to cry

he's too much of a sissy to cry

his ego is wrapped up in his weaknesses

The wisest, most wonderful, and manly man I know is my Dad, and I've seen him cry. He's done it while praying his thanksgiving over a meal. He's done it while speaking passionately about a matter. He did when his father / mother passed away. He's no crybaby. But when his tears flow, it's a genuine expression of his strong heart and mind.
