I hate my mom?

Question

I dunno why, but I dislike my mom. She's annoying and everything she does I hate. I'm sick of her, but I don't want to feel this way about her.
Help?

I'm guessing you are a teenager. It will change when you get a little older. Then, you might even be wanting to help her with things.

Think back and find out why you dislike her, what does she do that you dislike? Then - face the facts - you probably think maybe you could do better....

It seems we all go through stages in our walk - when we were little the world revolved around Mom - she could do everything and take care of everything - we get older and it seems Mom is not so high on our list of cherished ones. then it swings back again - I wish Mom were here to talk with and see what she would do....I felt as you do for a season - then I decided to forgive her for being the way she is - because of all the things she's gone through in her life that I didn't know about. It worked - we have a wonderful relationship now!!!

When I was a kid, I used to feel the same way about my mom and it seemed like we were always at opposite ends of the stick. She used to say to me...."some day you will have children of your own, and then you will understand".

Now I have children of my own and I understand perfectly!

As a kid, I could only see my side because that's all I knew. Now, as an adult, I can see both sides. The things she used to say and do drove me nuts, but now I understand where she was coming from, and believe it or not, most of them make sense.

Would you be surprised to learn that probably some days your mom doesn't like you very much either? As much as you may not like each other at times, you are part of each other and the love is always there. Hate is a very strong word and I don't think it fits into the picture at all!

you don't hate her you are just annoyed with her at the moment. Let me guess u r a teenager who thinks the world revolves around u! Your mom is the only person who will love you no matter how bad you screw up!! So even though you might get annoyed by her sometimes you need to thank God you have a mom., and show her respect.

you might not like the things she does or whatever. you know she has taken care of you all these years. I think you are the one with the problem, you need to grow up and realize, life isn't easy and she is the one taking care of you and you are not taking care of her. You could do some things to help her out like , clean the house and the yard, wash her car, take out the trash and take care of your animals if any. You could even cook dinner. Do something to help her and maybe you will appreciate all that she does for you. Grow up and stop being a whiner.

U mite dislike her, but u dont hate her! If it wasnt 4 her, u wouldnt be here so appreciate her! She may get on ur nerves but when she does, jus go do somethin to calm u down.

always remember that you can never change your family and there is only one mum in the world,sometimes i get really angrey with mine but i have to deal with it.

Just think if she wasnt there for you,you would soon realise how much you love and miss your mum life is very short so take the things that get in your nurves with a pinch of salt.
