So my younger brother just turned 18 a few months ago and I'm sick of dealing with him. He's a real brat and he needs an attitude adjustment. He doesn't respect me in any way, shape, or form and this has been going on for years. He's even made me cry on a number of occasions out of just being a jerk. He always talks back to me, won't listen to a thing I say, and sometimes even gets physical with me. I've talked to my parents about this many times and they always say that they will talk to him, but I highly doubt that they ever do considering nothing ever changes. Now, I'm two years older than him and I don't try to push him around or force him to do anything, but I just can't handle this anymore. Yes, I have tried talking to him about it, but all I get is him sighing or rolling his eyes or being sarcastic before he shoves me out of his room or locks himself inside. So, here's my question. What should I do? Talking hasn't gotten me anywhere in the past seven or eight years. I don't want to hurt him or break his stuff, because that's really immature and counter-productive. But, I can't say that I wouldn't enjoy making him feel horrible or breaking his fighting spirit. Just, somebody help me!

You need to start standing up for yourself stop letting him walk on top you he clearly does this because he nos you will leave get away with it you gotta show him who is boss! Your older then him he shouldn't be treating you like that stand up for yourself and be a man don't let him walk all over you and good luck!

Say **** about him to his face or secretly spread a bad rumor about him so he can feel what you feel every day. But make sure no one rats you out and say you said that or else he would try seeking revenge

In my opinion either hit him back, take something he loves the most, ruin something for him like his girlfriend or blackmail him
