Ok I got this new apartment that's decent. The only problem is only three eyes on the stove work, majority of the electric outlets don't work and there are no overhead ceiling lights in the living room or bedroom. My dad wants me to move back but I don't know because my reason for leaving was because he's lazy doesn't pick up after himself, expects me to clean house when he's there more than I am and he wont do anything about this neighborhood cat. I've been constantly getting sick and I know its from that cat. he stops right by my window and drops his load. the smell is so strong that you can smell it in the other room that's right next to mine. I told my dad to call to call animal control but he's like ''no what if some pest tries to get in?'' i told him he wouldn't last a day in my bedroom. You cant open up the window because there's the smell and the cat is about as big as a raccoon and has broken pretty much most of our fence. What should I do stay or move back?

If your new apartment is decent other than the electrical problems, call the apt. manager or landlord and tell them that the electrical system needs to be fixed and isn't up to code. They will know that not being "up to code" is a legal violation and should send somebody over to fix the problems. Most apts. don't have overhead lights in the living room or bedroom, though. The outlets should all work, however. If it is an apt. complex, you could also ask to be given another unit where the electricity works.

I wouldn't move back home, not because of the cat but because you're not a maid for your dad. He can hire someone to clean up after him instead of using you to do that. Besides, a cat pooping under your window is not making you sick, no matter how stinky it is. If you get sick in your dad's house, it is for other reasons so that would mean your own apt. is the better place to be. Good luck!! : /

I definitely think you should not go back to your dad house because that is a serious health hazard.

About the lights in your apartment. That is not a big deal. I do not have any over head lights in my apartment bedrooms or the living room either. I recommend buying a lamp that you could put on a table and plug it in some working outlet somewhere. I were you I would ask the landlord about the electrical outlets and the stove they should get those things fix for you. If that does not work I wil recommend you look for another apartment to move into if your current one is not working for you.

JUST DO NOT GO BACK TO LIVING WITH YOUR DAD BECAUSE HIS PLACE WILL GIVE YOU SERIOUS HEALTH PROBLEMS!

You can check with the land lord to get the repairs done. If he refuses, contact your local city inspector. They will force the landlord to fix the shoddy wiring and any other problems that exist. If you choose to move back in with your father, buy a bottle of ammonia and pour some along the ledge on the outside of your window. That should make the cat stay away without harming it. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about your dad being lazy. It's his choice and his lifestyle. Hope this helps.

i'd stay at homestead (relying on how distant the college is). i'm in my very last 3 hundred and sixty 5 days of my Bachelor application and nevertheless stay with my moms and dads. in case you stay at homestead you do not could take out any loans or and so on to pay on your own position, it ought to forestall you money (in case you artwork) so once you do confirm to flow out you keep in mind that you received't have the commercial burden of attempting to warfare to pay on your position, and finally in the adventure that your moms and dads do not recommendations you residing at homestead till you end college then stay homestead -- who can say no to a sensible selfmade dinner and a free position to stay? =D
